It’s 1973 and the O’Shea family faces a crisis of biblical proportions when their 19-year-old daughter tells her younger sister about “the birds and the bees” and is overheard by the parish priest. Holy hell and hilarity break loose as the O’Sheas band together and prove that nothing is more sacred than family, in the upcoming production of “Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help” at The Public Theatre in Lewiston. Cast members are, back row, from left, Scarlett Thomas and Kelsey Petersen; front row, from left, Doug Rees, Cate Damon and Allison Briner Dardenne. Performances begin on Thursday, Jan 26, and run through Saturday, Feb. 3, with shows at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays; 3 p.m. on Saturdays; 2 p.m. on Sundays; and an extra evening performance at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28. There will also be a post-show discussion with the cast and director following the matinee on Sunday, Jan. 28.
