SKOWHEGAN — Skowhegan Savings Bank has announced the promotion of Vicki Alward to executive vice president, chief operating officer.

Alward will oversee day-to-day operations, including operational risk, compliance, process efficiency and technology.

Alward began her career at the bank in 2006. Prior to 2006, she was a certified public accountant at Berry Dunn McNeil and Parker and served as a loan review officer at another bank.

A Thomas College graduate, Alward is active in her community, serving on the boards of the Somerset Economic Development Corporation, Redington-Fairview General Hospital and the Skowhegan Savings Charitable Foundation. A native of Madison, she now resides in Cornville.
