Ken Harvey and Diane Bishop finished first during the Jan. 9 duplicate bridge session at Elm City Duplicate Bridge in Waterville.
Rona Backstrom and Jessie Gunther placed second, with Dick Quinlan and Lee Lenfest third.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Jan. 11 were Paul Mitnik and Deb Gardner.
Pat Damon and Ken Harvey placed second; Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami placed third.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
