Leland Ralph Fellows

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – In loving memory of Leland Ralph Fellows of Knoxville, Tenn. Lee was a beloved husband, father of two, avid Corvette fan, prayer warrior and lover of bible study, and lover of Maui. His passion for his work as an accomplished systems engineer was only surpassed by the love he held for his God, his family, and others. His seemingly stubborn nature was a testament to his unwavering commitment to his convictions.

Lee was born in West Gardiner, the eldest son of Clarence and Sylvia Fellows. After graduating from Gardiner Area High School in 1975, Lee joined the Army, where he spent most of his time in Germany. After his discharge from the Army, he got a degree from the University of Maine, in Orono, where he balanced the tasks of being a student, a husband to his first wife, Monika, a father to David and Sandy, and working to make it all possible.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Sylvia Fellows of West Gardiner.

He leaves behind a loving wife of 18 years, Rhonda, of Knoxville, Tenn.; son, David of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; daughter, Alexandria and grandson, Jeremiah, both of Brunswick; brother, Larry and his wife Eva of Fort Worth, Texas, sister, Elaine and her husband Dean Brooks of West Gardiner; brother, Paul and his wife Debbie of West Gardiner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday Jan. 18, at 6 p.m., at Rose Funeral and Cremation – Mann, 6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, with Rev. Scott Whaley officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be on Friday Jan. 19 at 11 a.m., at Pleasant Forest Cemetery in Farragut, Tenn.
