Robert Paul Prudenzano

MANCHESTER – Robert Paul Prudenzano, 82, passed away Dec. 13, 2023 at Maine Medical Center in Portland with his loving wife by his side. He was born June 5, 1941, a son of Joseph and Amorita (Audette) Prudenzano.

Bob grew up in Vermont and New York. A star football player and an excellent student, Bob graduated in just three years from Port Henry High School in the class of 1960. As a young man, he worked as an encyclopedia salesman before working in construction sales. Bob was a hard worker and he eventually purchased a construction company, Woodmaster of Maine, which he proudly owned for several decades until his retirement at the age of 78.

Bob married his true soulmate, Yvette M. Letourneau, and the two made their home in Manchester. Bob was an avid golfer and was a long-time member of the Augusta Country Club where he enjoyed being out on the course with his friends.

In addition, Bob and Yvette were pleased to have owned many racehorses over the years.

He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and friend.

Bob was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Ronald Prudenzano; and his beloved dog, Buffie.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Yvette Prudenzano; his sisters Jackie Willich and her husband, Fred of Texas, and Jeannie Burnett and her husband Wayne of Vermont, a brother, Roger Prudenzano of Vermont; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 41 Western Ave., Augusta, ME 04330.
