Deborah Jean Miles

ROCKLAND – Deborah Jean Miles, 67, died peacefully at Breakwater Commons in Rockland, Maine on Nov. 18, 2023, after a long illness. She was born on April 1, the third daughter of Andrew and Eunice Miles of Clinton, Maine.

Debbie was a 1974 graduate of Lawrence High School, Fairfield, Maine, where she was a talented student with gifts as a writer, singer, dancer, actor, and cheerleader. Debbie attended UMO and then later graduated from New England Bible Institute, South Portland, Maine.

Debbie is survived by her sisters Elizabeth Miles Diamond and husband John of Warren R.I.; Andrea Miles Veilleux and husband Brian of Thomaston; Joan Miles and husband Spencer Drury of Eustis, and numerous, much-loved nieces and nephews.

Deborah was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Eunice Miles of Clinton; sister Nancy Miles Armstrong, husband Jeffrey and their daughter Jenna of Thomaston, and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family is very grateful for friends and family who loved and supported Debbie throughout the years.

A spring memorial service and committal will be held on Saturday, June 8, 11:00 a.m., at the Brown Memorial Methodist Church, 36 Church Street, Clinton, Maine.
