MADISON — Winthrop outscored Madison by five points in the second half to earn a 40-36 boys basketball win Friday night.

The Ramblers outscored the Bulldogs 20-15 after halftime. Cole Bard had 12 points for Winthrop (7-5) while Carter Rivers had nine.

Madison (6-4) was led by Ethan Linkletter with 13 points and Deacon Murray with 10.

 

MT. BLUE 78, CONY 66: Evan Sterlings led the Cougars with 32 points in the win in Farmington.

Carter Norton scored 19 points and Charles Stevens chipped in 10 points for Mt. Blue (11-0).

Parker Morin led Cony (4-7) with 22 and Parker Sargent was right behind him with 20.

 

TEMPLE 61, WISCASSET 52: Peyton Reckards had 15 points, 25 rebounds and three assists to lead the Bereans to the win in Wiscasset.

Nathan Corey added 21 points for Temple (5-5) while Gabe Young chipped in 10.

Jebar Garricks scored a game-high 25 points for Wiscasset (6-5) while Spencer Pinkham had 11.

LINCOLN 54, WINSLOW 34: Gabe Hagar scored 19 points and the Eagles used a 25-12 run in the second half to win in Newcastle.

Lucas Houghton had nine points to pace seven other Lincoln (9-2) scorers with at least a basket.

Braden Rodrigue led Winslow (6-5) with 21 points, but was held to seven in the second half as Eagles used a press to force several turnovers.

 

MT. ABRAM 85, DIRIGO 56: Payton Mitchell led the way for the Roadrunners in the win in Salem.

Cam Grey finished with 21 points for Mt. Abram (10-0) while Bryce Wilcox had 11 points and Logan Dube chipped in with 10 in the win.

Dakota White led Dirigo (6-4) with 16 points and Nathaniel Wainwright had 14 points.

 

CARRABEC 54, ISLESBORO 21: Pete Vicneire had 13 points to lead a balanced Cobras scoring attack in the win in North Anson.

Cooper Dellarma added 12 points for Carrabec (6-5) while Jackson Newton had 11.

Islesboro (5-6) was led by Robert Conover with 10 points.

SKOWHEGAN 67, GARDINER 52: Adam Fitzgerald scored 20 points to lead the River Hawks to the win in Skowhegan.

Ryan Donoghue added 18 points for Skowhegan (3-8).

Sophomore Brady Atwater led Gardiner (2-9) with 13 points while freshman Trace Moody chipped in 10.

 

MARANACOOK 81, LISBON 43: Keegan McClure’s 18 points led the Black Bears to the win in Lisbon.

McClure was one of four Maranacook (11-1) players to score in double digits. Brandon Chilton and Wyatt Folsom finished with 16 apiece, and Elijah Freeman had 12 points.

Keeghan Morrissette was Lisbon’s (1-11) top scorer with 16 points.

 

VALLEY 78, BUCKFIELD 34: Harry Louis led the Cavaliers (7-3) with 28 points and Fisher Tewksbury dropped in 27 points in the win in Buckfield.

Gaven Parsons led Buckfield (4-7) with 10 points.

VALLEY 81, BUCKFIELD 21: Madeline Hill scored 24 points and had eight steals to lead the Cavaliers to the win in Buckfield.

Kiersten Bigelow added 16 points, seven rebounds and seven steals for Valley (13-0) while Liana Hartwell chipped in 15 points, seven steals and five assists.

Buckfield (4-6) was led by Sarae Devoe with eight points.

 

CARRABEC 61, ISLESBORO 36: Molly Hay scored 26 points to lead the Cobras to the win in North Anson.

Anna Cabales added nine points for Carrabec (6-5).

Alma Bewsher led Islesboro (6-5) with 17 points.

 

LINCOLN 67, WINSLOW 26: Olivia Ball scored 14 points and Mariam DeLisle chipped in 13 as the visiting Eagles won in Winslow.

Lily Labrie had eight points and Chloe Anderson finished with seven for the Eagles (8-4), who opened with 21-4 run and outscored Winslow 17-0 in the fourth quarter.

Amara Rioux and Angeline Steeves each had eight points for Winslow (1-9).
