LIBERTY — A rollover crash on state Route 3 sent one person to the hospital Friday night, according to a fire rescue official.

The individual sustained injuries but is considered “stable,” according to Corey Bonnevie, deputy chief for Liberty Fire and Rescue.

Emergency crews responded to the crash around 8 p.m. on Friday, according to an emergency dispatch alert.

An initial investigation found the cause of the accident to be black ice on the road, Bonnevie said. Only one vehicle was involved.
