FARMINGTON — Franklin Community Health Network invites all women to attend its upcoming Galentines Day event, set for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8.
The free event will be hosted in the Bass Room at Franklin Memorial Hospital, 111 Franklin Health Commons.
The come-and-go festivities will include demonstrations by women-owned businesses, chair massages, door prizes, refreshments, and a wealth of women’s health information covering breast care, nutrition, mental health, physical therapy, and heart health, according to a news release from the health network.
“We are thrilled to bring back this event for its second year,” said Ryan Marie Mastrangelo, FCHN director of communications and public affairs. “Collaborating with the incredible women in our community, we aim to foster a celebration of each others’ strengths and create a space where vital health resources are easily accessible. It’s a perfect blend of support, friendship, and good times.”
For additional details, call Mastrangelo at 207-779-2683 or visit the Facebook event page.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
