BELFAST — Belfast Maskers seeks actors and actresses of all ages for its 2024 Festival of One Acts.
Auditions are set two dates in February at the Basil Burwell Community Theater, 17 Court Street. Prospective performers can audition at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 or 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10.
This year’s festival features four short comedic plays: “In the Tank” by Rosemary Frisine Toohey, directed by Gwyneth Sauvage; “At Home” by Richard Dresser, directed by Zafra Whitcomb; “Writer’s Block” written and directed by Cassidy Small; and “Triassic Park,” written and directed by Tucker Atwood.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the scripts; the casts will be chosen by the directors. Email info@belfastmaskers.com with questions.
All four shows will be performed each night of the festival, which runs April 19-28, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at the theater.
