FAIRFIELD — Kennebec Valley Community College has been recognized by Forbes Advisor Education as one of the Best Early Childhood Education Associate Degrees Online of 2024.

Forbes Advisor Education selected the college as one of the 10 best schools based on criteria including credibility, affordability, student outcomes and student experience, according to a news release.

KVCC’s Early Childhood Education program serves nearly 200 students and is available to students in all Maine counties. They offer holistic advising, mentorship opportunities and partnerships with over 200 organizations across Maine.

The Maine Association for the Education of Young Children’s 2024 list of 20 Young Teachers to Watch included four KVCC alumni.
