CANNAN – Alfred A. Gervais, 65, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Cannan on Jan. 29, 2024.

Alfred was born on Sept. 25, 1958, son to Charlotte (Greenwood) Poirier and Alfred W. Gervais. He attended Waterville schools earning his GED in 1995. For 30 years he loved cab driving and most recently with K’s Taxi. Putting smiles on customers’ faces was what he did best.

Alfred enjoyed spending time in the outdoors 4-wheeling and fishing. He loved to joy-ride with his favorite music blasting on the radio and his windows rolled down. Bingo was his game of choice and he never passed up a chance to grab a scratch ticket. Alfred adored his family and friends and loved spending time with them.

He was predeceased by both his parents; stepdaughter, Elizabeth (Perkins) Munster; brother, Raymond Gervais, sister, Theresa Gervais; and best friend, Larry Peace.

Alfred is survived by daughters Casey (Foss) Gallant, Amber Gervais, and Tameka Beattie, son, Coby Foss, stepdaughter, Natasha Perkins; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; siblings Joyce, Scott, Will, and Amanda; along with close friends Mike Grivois and Mike Curran.

A Celebration of Life for Alfred will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the VFW located 51 Water St. in Waterville. Interment will take place at a later date.
