ELLSWORTH — Downeast Trout Unlimited is set to host Brian Stranko for a discussion of Trout Unlimited priorities in Maine.
The hybrid meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the Moore Community Center, 125 State St., and via Zoom. To register visit tinyurl.com/6p636wef.
Stranko is the new program manager for Maine Trout Unlimited and a leader in water, land and salmonid conservation for over 20 years. Prior to moving to Maine he worked for the Nature Conservancy, National Geographic Society and California Trout, a statewide salmon, trout, and steelhead organization. TU has many projects in Maine and advocates for better fish passage for trout and endangered Atlantic salmon.
