
Maine Woodland Owners is set to hold an online program, Making Sense of Timber Taxes, at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 12.
This Zoom event provides advice and information for woodland owners facing 2023 business tax realities. Conducted by retired IRS forester Jim Norris, the workshop will cover federal timber tax information, focusing primarily on reporting gain/loss from the sale of timber and forest products, according to a news release from Maine Woodland Owners.
This program is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
