AUGUSTA — Kerri Therriault, who has held various leadership roles at Central Maine Power, most recently as senior director of electric operations, retired from her position at the beginning of March after spearheading teams at CMP since fall 2001.

Replacing her in the role of senior director of electric operations, the second-highest leadership position in CMP’s Operations Division, is Stephanie Roper, who previously served as manager of regional operations in CMP’s Augusta/Fairfield service district.

Roper is a military veteran and, like Therriault, has decades of experience in the electric utility industry, joining CMP and Avangrid in 2022 from a prior role in New York City at another large utility company. She will report to CMP vice president of electric operations, Adam Desrosiers.

The senior director of electric operations manages approximately 400 CMP employees, including those who support the company’s distribution system, such as lineworkers.
