PITTSFIELD – Erlene Sherry Frost, 82, died peacefully on April 5, 2024, in Skowhegan.

Erlene was born on May 20, 1941, in Dexter, a daughter of the late Earl and Grace (Anderson) Lindsay. She worked in the Pittsfield school district cafeteria for several years. She spent most of her life as a housewife, encouraging and supporting her children and grandchildren to be successful. Her door was always open to numerous neighborhood children and friends to visit, stay, and enjoy her many homemade goodies and meals. She was very social and enjoyed doing crafts, such as painting, ceramics, and sewing. She gave many of these special items to family and friends.

She is survived by her children: Brent Frost and wife Kelli, Dena Hall and husband Rusty, and Eric Frost and wife Julie; eight grandchildren: Domenick, Sarah and husband Chad, Benjamin and wife Natalia, Jason, James and wife Eliana, Jacob, Blake, and Jillian; three great-grandchildren: Lucas, Laney, and Avi; brother, Maurice Lindsay and wife Genie; sister, Sandra McBurnie; and numerous special nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Dino Frost; and her brother-in-law, Dale McBurnie.

A graveside service for both Dino and Erlene will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Village Cemetery, Peltoma Avenue, Pittsfield.
