I met Cassie Julia when she was working with the drama department at Waterville Senior High School and I was a theater student. Cassie always made it clear to us that she could be a resource for anything we needed. She listened and took action any time a concern was raised, and her presence provided a sense of protection and gentle authority.

Now that I am an adult, I’m very excited to vote for Cassie to be my state representative. It has been frustrating in recent years to see elected officials who talk about supporting our vulnerable communities, but do not use their position to take legislative action to create permanent and sustainable change. With Cassie in this House seat, I can see strong and consistent support for the community, in the same way she supported us students.

I can’t wait to see what Cassie can get done as my representative!
