NORTH ANSON — Jillian Robinson pitched both games of the doubleheader, allowing three hits in each to lead Carrabec past Vinalhaven 9-1 and 15-0 in softball action Saturday.

In Game 1, Tibbetts led the offense with a triple, a single and an RBI.

In Game 2, Aiyana Tibbetts, Lilliana Caldwell and Josephine Scheve each had two singles and two RBIs while Robinson added a double, a single and an RBI.

Both teams are now 2-2.

 

NYA 15, VALLEY 0: Toree St. Hilaire blasted a three-run homer as the Panthers won a three-inning mercy-rule game at Yarmouth.

Jordan Nash was 3 for 3 and drove in a run for NYA (4-0), while Brooklyn Goodman and Aurora Blier each had two hits apiece and three RBI.

The Cavaliers fall to 1-1.
