Kendrick A. Anderson

CHELSEA – Kendrick A. Anderson, 81, of Chelsea, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at home with his two children.

Born in Framingham, Mass., the son of Levi Anderson and Aino Helen Sharples, he was raised in Maynard, Mass. He married the love of his life, Lorraine Legere, on Dec. 2, 1961. They shared 58 dedicated years together until her death on Dec. 2, 2019. Ken worked as a plastering contractor and business owner in the Metro-West area until 2006 when he and Lorraine retired to Whitefield.

Ken was an outdoorsman. He took pride in taking care of his property and could been seen on his lawnmower many times during the week. He also enjoyed fishing, boating and in retirement lots of golf. Ken was a generous and talented person who loved sharing with his family, friends, and neighbors. He was also involved in lending his support to various Kingdom Hall construction projects.

Kendrick is survived by his son, Kendrick L. Anderson, and his wife Lisa of Chelsea; his granddaughter, Elizabeth Anderson of Bowdoinham; his daughter, Karen Howard, her husband Joe of Shrewsbury, Mass.; his grandson, Myles Roche of Portland; and brother, Levi Albert Anderson of Ocala, Fla.

Ken was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine Anderson; sister, Edith Felio and brother, Timothy Anderson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18 at 2 p.m., Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 419 Main St., Northborough, MA 01532.
