I’m referring to the May 1 edition of the Morning Sentinel depicting a cartoon of South Dakota Gov. Noem shooting down Snoopy while flying his doghouse, inferring her as evil for shooting her dog.
The previous day’s episode of television’s “The View” with Whoopie Goldberg and hosts vehemently disparaged her as well.
We all love our pets, but Gov. Noem was exercising her “choice” to kill her dog. This same “choice” is exercised 2,500 times daily in this country by expecting mothers to kill their in utero babies. The “choice” promoted by this newspaper and the entertainment industry is their combined opinion.
Putting the life of a dog above the life of a human is in my opinion unconscionable.
