AUGUSTA — Maine State Credit Union has announced the expansion of its commercial lending team and the promotions of Bruce Harrington to senior vice president, commercial lending and Brandon Clark to assistant vice president, commercial lending.
“Over the past seven years, Bruce has built up a robust commercial and small business lending team. They are focused on helping Maine’s business owners grow and drive Maine’s economy while staying true to the values of the Credit Union industry,” Stephen Wallace, CEO and president of Maine State Credit Union said in a news release.
Harrington has been leading a team that embodies credit union values in an increasingly competitive industry. Initially starting in the Waterville and Augusta markets, the credit union has expanded its reach down the coast, adding Jeff Charland, vice president of commercial lending to the team to serve the Rockland market in 2022.
With expertise in lending and knowledge of the Augusta market, Brandon Clark joined as a commercial lender in 2023. He will continue to focus on the Augusta area and work with Charland to drive growth in the midcoast region.
Nichole Lee, commercial lender, who was previously the branch manager of the Waterville and Gray branches, has transitioned into commercial lending and is a business lender along with Karin Warren, AVP, commercial lending in the Waterville area.
The expansion of the commercial lending team with the addition of new lenders, analysts and support staff, allows each to focus more on the individual needs of its business owners as well as introduce new products and tools that will make it easier for business owners to bank. Maine State Credit Union continues to roll out products to make banking easier for owners and launched a remote deposit capture tool (RDC) earlier this year.
