Di Bishop and Ken Harvey tied with Gabriele Rice and Suzon Morrison for first at the Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville during the April 30 duplicate bridge session.
Willy Pouliot and Maureen Brouchu shared third.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for May 1 were Harvey and Dan Townsend. There was a three-way tie for second between Dennis Purington and Glenn Angell, Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinckley, and Ron Cote and David Offer.
The winners for May 2 were Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami. Paul Mitnik and Debra Gardner placed second, and Letourneau and Hinckley placed third.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
