I am excited to see that Cassie Julia is running in the Democratic primary for House District 65. Cassie has contributed to District 65 through her advocacy work, as well as finding solutions to difficult educational issues.
She fights for all of us using her good sense and sense of good. And she has the grit to work collaboratively for solutions to the most challenging issues facing us in Maine. Her stance on matters ranging from climate change action to affordable housing development to education are those that will benefit the citizens of Waterville specifically, and Maine more generally.
Her unwavering support for the reproductive rights of women makes her the only candidate who will keep us moving forward in the quest for the equal rights for women. Our work toward equal rights, and in particular reproductive rights, of all of our citizens is not done. Cassie will help us move forward toward that goal.
