VASSALBORO — People can join local birders from the Augusta Birding Club and Kennebec Land Trust volunteers at 7 a.m. Saturday, May 25, for a spring birding walk at the Davidson Nature Preserve, 207 Taber Hill Road.

The 97-acre Davidson Nature Preserve features 10 acres of blueberry fields as well as wetlands and woodlands. Over 70 species of birds have been identified, so participants should bring binoculars. Birders of all skill levels are welcome, but pets should be left at home.
