AUGUSTA — The Kennebec Valley Humane Society’s Tails & Tunes event is set for 2-6 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at 168 Leighton Road.
“We will have live music from local Maine musicians, food trucks, and a friendly atmosphere for families and furry friends,” said Melanie Randall. The event will also offer a bounce house, games, a scavenger hunt, raffle prizes, and a vendor village with animal related products and gifts. “It is going to be a great way to support our shelter while enjoying a Sunday afternoon with your pup and family, have some yummy food and drink, shop local, listen to some fun live music and just have a good time.” The event is dog-friendly and KVHS encourages owners to consider if it’s a good environment for their pup. “The event will be high energy with 200 guests and we want to set everyone up for success.”
