RANGELEY — The Thrift Shop at the Church of the Good Shepherd, at 2614 Main St., seeks volunteers to help sort and arrange donated goods, as well as to help staff the store when open to the public.
The shop, located in the Undercroft of the Church, is managed by the Episcopal Church Women and other community volunteers.
Donated goods appear every day and need to be sorted during the week before the shop opens on Friday; any amount of volunteer help is appreciated.
Shop hours are from 9 a.m. to noon every Friday and Saturday.
To find out more or to volunteer, email Joanne Dunlap, president of the ECW, at [email protected].

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
