AUGUSTA — The Friends of Lithgow Library seek donations of gently used fiction, biographies, cookbooks, gardening and craft books, blu-ray, DVDs, and children’s books.
Textbooks, encyclopedias, VHS or cassette tapes, or anything in poor condition cannot be accepted, nor anything with dust, mold, stained or torn pages, or notes in the margins.
Donations should be brought inside at any time during operating hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays through July 30 at 45 Winthrop St. There will be a flatbed cart in the hallway for drop-offs. People are asked to bring in no more than a box or two bags at a time, and to never leave books outside the building.
For more information, call the library at 207-626-2415 or visit lithgowlibrary.org.
