Elm City Bridge Club
Barbara Terhune and Maureen Manning finished first at the Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville during the July 16 duplicate bridge session.
Sylvia Palmer came in second place, and Maureen Brochu and Jessie Gunther third.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners on July 10 were Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinckley. Nancy Lenfest and Nancy Lindgren finished second; Vern Arey and Kathy Burden finished third.
On July 11, Letourneau and Hinckley tied Paul Mitnik and Debra Gardiner for first place. Lorrie Letourneau and Dennis Purington finished third.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
