The Sebago-Long Lake Music Festival musicians will perform three Discovery Concerts in locations Western Maine on Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27. This is part of the Festival’s commitment to bring live classical music to Western Maine.

A string quartet of SLLMF artists will perform at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, McLaughlin Garden & Homestead located at 97 Main St., South Paris. This beautiful antique barn and exterior garden has been a venue for several years and attracts a good crowd of mixed ages. Initiated as a healing concert several years ago to benefit the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine, today a suggested donated of $15 will be used to support McLaughlin Garden, CRCWM, and SLLMF.  Iced tea and cookies will be served.

A Flute & Cello performance will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, at the Rufus Porter Museum of Art & Ingenuity in the newly completed Graham Center located at 121 Main St., Bridgton.

A Flute & Cello performance will be held at at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, at the Waterford Congregational Church located at 15 Plummer Hill Rd., Waterford, partnering with the Waterford Library.

The Discovery Concerts are open to the public and free of charge or by donation only.

Sebago-Long Lake Music Festival is in its 52nd season and performs Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. between July 16 and Aug. 13 at Deertrees Theatre in Harrison. Tickets, program, artists bios and other information are available online at sebagomusicfestival.org. All those 21 years and younger are admitted free of charge at all SLLMF concerts at Deertrees Theatre.
