I run a small business, a bakery. In today’s economic climate, owning a business is difficult. Supplies cost more this year than last. Washington, D.C., is chaotic and divisive. It does not help me put bread in the oven, I don’t feel very hopeful. Leadership is needed, not drama.
Congressman Golden has a level head and is personally familiar with small business. He knows the struggles we face. He voted against his party’s Build Back Better bill which would have raised inflation higher and transparently wrote a letter explaining why so all could understand. His goal was to protect us here in Maine. He also has done a lot with the Small Business Administration to ensure that Mainers have resources to succeed.
He is a good man, has a loving family, and is a strong leader with three terms in office. Jared Golden has my vote again!
