DRESDEN — A three-vehicle accident with at least one fatality has shut down Gardiner Road near its Carriage Court section on Monday afternoon, authorities said. The road is also Maine Route 27.
The collision happened around 3:30 p.m. and few details are known, including the extent of the injuries of those involved in the crash.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department in a Facebook post told drivers to avoid the area and expect a prolonged closure.
