He graduated from Winthrop High School in 2021 and now works at a construction and landscaping company. He is the son of Tammy Smith, a member of the Pine Tree Council Executive Board and a Scout leader who has been with him since he joined Cub Scouting in First Grade.

“I have been a Scout all the way since Tiger,” Bryce Smith said in a news release about the award. “In Scouting I value the skills I have learned such as teamwork and helping out others in the community. Scouting is a great family. I love everything about it.”

The ceremony was held Sept. 21 at the Monmouth Fish and Game Association.
