Kathleen Nix
AUGUSTA – Kathleen Nix passed away on Sept. 16, 2024, in Augusta, at 61 years old. She spent her life living in Maine and was a proud mother and grandmother.
Kathy was born in Bath, Maine. She loved animals, art, and nature. Although quiet and reserved she had place in her heart for helping others if they needed a place to go.
Kathy was predeceased by her mother Leah Lawrence whom she had a close relationship with. She is survived by her children Nick Ashton, Leah Norton, Adam Brown, and Ben Panchuck; ten grandchildren; husband Ed Nix, sister Ellen King Boucher, brother Joe Ashton; and numerous nieces, cousins, and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Oct. 6, 2024 at 12 Gilbert Drive, Chelsea, Maine at 1 p.m. Food will be provided. Just a chance to reminisce and say goodbye.
