AUGUSTA — The northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Augusta were closed until about noon Monday after a camper was involved in a crash and rolled onto its side near Exit 109, blocking both lanes for about two hours, officials said.
The crash was reported just before 10 a.m., when a Subaru hydroplaned and veered into the center lane and hit a truck towing a camper, according to Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Moderate rain was falling across central Maine at the time of the crash.
No injuries were reported related to the crash, Moss said.
Traffic was diverted to the breakdown lane due to the crash, and towing efforts began at about 11:15 a.m., according to the Maine State Police.
