Q&A

1) Define what “success” would look like if you are elected to serve your district.

Constituent Services has and will continue to be a priority for me. Even if I may not have the answer someone is looking for, at least we can discuss the issue and hopefully find them the correct resource.

We need to continue to fight the opioid epidemic through enforcement, education and treatment. As a state we are facing a $1 billion shortfall in FY 26-27. We need strong leadership in prioritizing essential programs and especially our most vulnerable.

2) Name one issue the Legislature handled last session. Explain why you agree or disagree with the final outcome.

We were able to commit 40% of sales tax revenue on vehicle sales to our highway fund budget. This should allow us not to have to borrow money for our critical infrastructure. In my opinion this is just a starts as we still have miles to go to secure transportation funding into the future. I plan to may this a priority in my final term.

OPPONENT: Ethan Brownell, D-Pittsfield
