
MADISON — Over the years, the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 39, Madison recently sponsored a school supplies collection which included backpacks, pens, pencils, markers, notebooks, binders, crayons, colored pencils, water bottles and hand sanitizer. With cash donations and school supplies from the community and members, the auxiliary was able to donate $450 worth of school supplies to six schools in School Administrative District 59 in Madison and Anson-based Regional School Unit 74.
