PORTLAND — The Maine Small Business Development Centers, in partnership with the Maine Department of Labor’s Bureau of Rehabilitation Services, plans to offer a free webinar designed to empower Mainers with disabilities to explore self-employment.
The webinar, called Exploring Business Ownership for People with Disabilities, is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, via Zoom.
Experienced Maine SBDC Business Advisors Tina Oddleifson and Peter Harriman will lead this webinar, bringing their experience in guiding diverse entrepreneurs to success.
The webinar will cover: How to turn a business idea into reality; challenges and rewards of business ownership for people with disabilities; and resources and support available to business owners with disabilities in Maine.
The event will feature ASL interpretation and live captioning. Additional accommodations are available upon request.
