Elm City Bridge Club

Su Morrison and Gabrielle Rice finished first at the Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville during the Oct. 22 duplicate bridge session.

Diane Bishop and Ken Harvey were second; Natasha Rosenbaum and Jessie Gunther were third. 

Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club

The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Oct. 16 were David Offer and Ron Cote. Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinckley finished second; Dennis Purington and Glenn Angell finished third.

The Oct. 17 winners were David Martz and Rhonda Gioia. Lorrie Letourneau and David Offer tied Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinckley for second place.

The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.

Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Paul Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
