MADISON — Raegan Cowan scored all eight goals to lead No. 2 Madison past No. 3 Greenville 8-0 in an 8-person South girls soccer semifinal Friday.
Jaelyn Lanko had an assist for the Bulldogs (16-0-0), who will play the winner of the Rangeley/Temple game in the regional final.
Greenville finishes at 6-10-0.
BOYS SOCCER
MONMOUTH 6, BUCKFIELD 2: Zane Foyt scored three goals and Bryce Fletcher added two goals and two assists as the second-seeded Mustangs won a Class D South semifinal game in Monmouth.
Rory Foyt also scored for Monmouth (12-2-1). Zane Foyt, Jake Harmon and Will Hamel each had one assist. Goalie Lewis Lamoreau made four saves.
Seamus Keough and Krosby Harvey had No. 3 Buckfield’s (4-7-4) goals. Harvey also played goalie in the first half and stopped 11 shots. Bobby Bernier had eight saves in the second half.
The Mustangs will face top-seeded Richmond (14-1) in Tuesday’s regional final in Winthrop.
RICHMOND 2, ST. DOMINIC 1: Kenny Mecham and Zander Steele each had a goal to lead the No. 1 Bobcats into the Class D South final with a semifinal win in Richmond.
Ben Fournier assisted on a goal for Richmond (14-1-0), and goalie David Andrews stopped two shots.
Joseph Adams scored No. 4 St. Dom’s (6-9-0) goal in the second half off an assist from Matt Fecteau. Riley Daigle stopped nine shots.
The Bobcats will face second-seeded Monmouth (12-2-1) in the regional final on Tuesday at Winthrop Grade School.
