FREEPORT — The University of Maine at Augusta’s jazz and rock ensemble, Juice Joint, is set to perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at Cadenza, 5 Depot St.
Proceeds benefit Freeport Community Services, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families and individuals in need.
Audiences can experience a mix of holiday classics and highlights from the ensemble’s recent fall concert. The evening will feature UMA students Emily LaChappelle, Sharyn Atwater, Tyler Foster, David Austin, Kurt Levesque, Thomas Runco, Gabriel Brents, and Dan Osgood, along with alum Berto Serio, under the direction of ensemble leader Duane Edwards.
For those unable to attend, the concert will be livestreamed on Facebook. Online viewers can also make a donation to support Freeport Community Services.
