FARMINGTON — Bloom Academy of Dance (formerly Thomas Performing Arts Center) is set to present a Winter Holiday Spectacular at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 20 and 21, and at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22.
All three shows will be held at the Bjorn Auditorium on the Mt. Blue Campus, 129 Seamon Road.
Many young local dancers from Bloom Academy of Dance (B.A.D.) have been working on choreography and honing their technique as they prepare to celebrate the season with holiday spirit, according to a news release from the academy. The event will feature an array of surprises, including performances by its own “Mariah Carey,” a Rockette-inspired kickline, dancing swans, and hippopotamuses.
Tickets cost $22 per person; snacks will be available at intermission. Tickets are available at 30921.danceticketing.com, and will also be at the door, cash or Venmo.
