Lita G. Mullins

DOVER-FOXCROFT – Lita G. Mullins, 88, passed away Dec. 10, 2024, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born July 29, 1936, in Lincoln, the daughter of Lawrence G. and Louise (Sibley) Washburn.

Lita grew up in Lincoln Center and graduated from Mattanawcook Academy. She was always active with her churches. She attended Winter Street Baptist in Gardiner, United Baptist Church in Dover-Foxcroft, and she was a faithful member of the Family Worship Center in Dover-Foxcroft. For many years, Lita was active as a Sunday school teacher and in Women’s Bible Study. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Lita is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Roger Mullins of Dover-Foxcroft; two daughters, Sheree Condon and husband, Stephen of Jay, and Kelly Hanson Legere and husband, Daniel of Milford; two grandsons, Travis Hanson and significant other, Rebecca Fillmore, and Brandon Hanson, two granddaughters, Michelle Condon and Sarah Savage and husband, Derrek; four brothers, Leslie and wife, Sharon of Dover-Foxcroft, Michael and wife, Nancy of Stetson, Gary of Alaska, and Mark and wife, Debbie, of Lakeville; and several great-grandchildren; nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Larry and Gregory, and her sister, Dottie.

A time of visitation will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, until time of funeral service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Jim Colley officiating, at the Lary Funeral Home, 62 Summer St., Dover-Foxcroft. Burial will be in the family lot in Sand Hill Cemetery in Palermo.
