NORTH ANSON — Fisher Tewksbury’s 19 points paced Valley to a 58-33 East/West Conference boys basketball win over Carrabec on Wednesday.

Harry Louis scored 16 points and Hunter Mills added 14 points for the Cavaliers (3-0).

Jackson Newton led the Cobras (3-1) with 13 points, while Michael Steuber added eight.

TELSTAR 87, RANGELEY 21: A fast start propelled the unbeaten Rebels (4-0) past the Lakers (1-3) in a Class D South matchup in Bethel.

Brody Morgan poured in a game-high 21 points for Telstar. Reiley Hedden added 15 points, and Jonathan Marshall and Cooper Morgan contributed 10 points apiece.

Sam Morrill was Rangeley’s top scorer with 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and Zak Madrid had five points.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 29, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 26: The Falcons bounced back from a low-scoring second half to take down the Mustangs in Rumford.

Mountain Valley trailed 17-7 at halftime, then outscored Monmouth 12-0 in the third quarter and 10-9 in the fourth.

Madison Dow led the Falcons’ (3-2) comeback, scoring nine of her game-high 13 points after halftime, while Layce Boucher netted all six of her points in the second half.

Kaitlyn Frost led the Mustangs (3-2) with nine points, and Rileigh Chase scored seven.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 48, WINTHROP 36: Avery Bessey and Maddie Grimaldi led the charge as the Phoenix (3-0) pulled away from the Ramblers (2-3) in the second half in Jay.

Spruce Mountain trailed 15-14 at halftime then outscored Winthrop 34-21 over the final two quarters. Bessey scored 14 of her 17 points in the second half, including four fourth-quarter 3-pointers, while Grimaldi scored 15 of her 17 points after halftime, including 13 in the third period.

Ella Rice led the Ramblers with 15 points, and Kylee Mansir scored 13.

VALLEY 71, CARRABEC 53: Madeline Hill scored 22 points, Liana Hartwell added 17 and Kirsten Bigelow had 16 to lead the Cavaliers (3-0) over the Cobras (3-1) in North Anson.

Karen Baker paced Carrabec with 17 points.
