BANGOR — Maine DeMolay, led by Farmington Police Officer Jesse Dixon, recently hosted a cornhole tournament with businesses, individuals and competitive teams at the Anah Shrine Temple to raise funds for the Travis Mills Foundation.
The tournament saw multiple teams battling for the top prize of $200, while a custom-built Travis Mills Foundation cornhole set, donated by Dixon, was raffled off. The event raised $5,000 for the foundation.
The Travis Mills Foundation in Rome is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting post-9/11 recalibrated veterans and their families through programs that promote health and wellness, along with connection with one another.
