HAMPDEN — Ty Bernier scored 20 points Thursday as the Messalonskee boys basketball team claimed a 45-36 victory over Hampden Academy.

Parker Reynolds had 10 points to join Bernier in double figures for the Eagles (9-2).

Miles Shain led the Broncos (7-3) with 10 points.

VALLEY 75, FOREST HILLS 48: Harry Louis scored 32 points as the Cavaliers won in Jackman.

Fisher Tewksbury added 15 points for Valley (8-0) in the win.

Jaxson Desjardins led the Tigers (6-6) with 15 points and seven rebounds.

TEMPLE ACADEMY 55, ISLESBORO 29: Peyton Reckards scored 16 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as the Bereans won in Waterville.

Ricardo Louis also had 11 points and 13 rebounds for Temple (2-7).

Finley Conover led the Eagles (4-4) with 11 points.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 72, WINSLOW 50: E.J. Hunt led the Eagles with 19 points, Terry Welle added 13, and the Eagles topped the Black Raiders in Newcastle.

Lincoln (7-3) took control early, leading 23-12 after one quarter and 42-24 by halftime.

Braden Rodrigue scored 25 points for Winslow (8-4), and Carter Calvo added 13.

CAMDEN HILLS 62, SKOWHEGAN 61: Nolan Ames scored 10 points in overtime to lift the Windjammers (5-5) past the River Hawks (1-10) in Skowhegan.

Ames finished with 30 points and Matthias McPhail added 15 for Camden Hills.

Skowhegan was paced by Aiden McGinty with 19 points and Carter Nadeau with 18.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

MADISON 43, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 39: Mackenzie Robbins led the Bulldogs with 17 points in their win over the Falcons in Rumford.

Reagan Cowan finished with 12 points for Madison (6-3).

Layce Boucher had 11 points for Mountain Valley (4-5), and Madison Dow scored 10. 

VALLEY 72, FOREST HILLS 24: Madeline Hill scored 20 points, while Liana Hartwell added 10 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists and nine steals as the Cavaliers stayed unbeaten with the win in Jackman.

Brianna Mills contributed 10 points and 15 rebounds for Valley (8-0). Kirsten Bigelow added 15 points to make it four Cavaliers in double figures.

Morgan Petrucci scored 13 points to lead Forest Hills (8-4).

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 83, LISBON 6: Kaitlyn Frost scored 23 points and added five assists as the Mustangs won in Monmouth.

Eliza Armandi contributed 10 points for Monmouth (5-5).

HAMPDEN 65, MESSALONSKEE 47: Aubrey Shaw and Eva Wiles scored 17 points each as the Broncos won in Oakland.

Grace LaBree added 16 points for Hampden (6-4).

Addy Welch led the Eagles (2-9) with 17 points and seven rebounds.

WINTHROP 46, MT. ABRAM 38: Ella Rice scored 17 points to lead the Ramblers past the Roadrunners in Salem Township.

Kylee Mansir added 12 points for Winthrop (7-3).

Kharlie Turner had 12 points to lead Mt. Abram (5-5).

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 64, OAK HILL 35: Avery Bessey hit four 3-pointers and scored 24 points in the Phoenix’s (9-1) victory over the Raiders (2-9) in Jay.

Maddie Grimaldi chipped in 12 points and Riley Small had 10 points for Spruce Mountain, which outscored the Raiders 23-2 in the first quarter.

Kendall Theriault finished with nine points for Oak Hill.
