Finding Our Voices is set to hold an online book club discussion of “The Bonobo Sisterhood: Revolution Through Female Alliance” with the book’s author, Diane Rosenfeld, founding director of Harvard’s Gender Violence Program. The discussion is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11.
The event is part of the Finding Our Voices Book Club, which gathers with authors six times a year — mostly online— to examine books through the lens of domestic abuse.
Finding Our Voices is the grassroots nonprofit providing peer support and resources to Maine women survivors of domestic abuse. It is not necessary to identify as a domestic abuse survivor to be part of this book club.
This event is free and open to the public. The link to join the club and discussion is bookclubs.com.
