MOUNT VERNON — Singer-songwriter Anni Clark is scheduled to perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at the Mount Vernon Community Center, 2 Main St.

The storm date is 2 p.m. March 2.

Clark, a native of Yarmouth, has been wowing audiences from Maine to Texas since 1981, when she quit her day job to pursue a career in music, according to a news release from Williams.

She has released eight recordings and shared stages with performers like Shawn Colvin, Richie Havens and Tom Rush. The Kennebec Journal wrote that “she can have you laughing one moment and close to tears the next with the honest emotions in her material.”

With soulful vocals and six- and 12-string guitars, Clark blends folk, pop and blues with “a dash of Maine hue-mah.”

Admission is a suggested donation of $10, with all proceeds going to the Mount Vernon Food Bank.
