Nia Scott scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lift Bryant to a 68-57 win over UMaine in the America East regular-season finale for both teams on Saturday in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
Breezie Williams scored 13 points and Mimi Rubio added 11 for the Bulldogs (16-13, 9-7 America East) who will be the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament.
Asta Blauenfeldt scored 20 points, while Caroline Bornemann added 10 for the Black Bears (14-15, 9-7). Maine’s spot in the tournament won’t be determined until after NJIT and Albany play later Saturday.
