Margueritte I. Sirois

RANDOLPH – Margueritte I. Sirois, 84, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at her home. She was born in Van Buren, Maine, on Jan. 5, 1941, a daughter of the late Albert J.B. and Marie (Gauthier) Tardiff.

Mrs. Sirois attended schools in Van Buren and was a communicant of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a member of the Cushnoc Senior Citizens.

She had been employed for over 26 years in several shoe manufacturing plants, such as: R.P. Hazzard Shoe, Taylor Shoe and Hallowell Shoe. She had also worked for a few years at K-Mart in Augusta.

Mrs. Sirois was predeceased by her husband, Roger D. Sirois, Sr.; a daughter, Lisa Ann Moody; siblings, Gilman Tardiff, Mona Sandy, Frances Michaud and Larry Tardiff.

She is survived by a daughter, Marie A. Stanton and her husband Randy of Clinton, a son, Roger D. Sirois, Jr. and his wife Tessa of Verona, Wis.; sisters, Geneva McFarland and her husband Leroy of Greenville and Wynne Goff and her husband Lennie of Smithfield; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Northern Ave., Augusta. Burial and committal prayers will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Townsend Rd., Augusta.
