Brooks Brannon was 2 for 4 with a three-run home run and four RBI to lift the Portland Sea Dogs to an 8-3 win over the Binghamton Rumble Ponies on Tuesday at Hadlock Field in Portland.
Ronald Rosario added two hits and three RBI for Portland, which snapped a two-game losing streak.
Rosario hit a two-run double in the bottom of the first and Brannon an RBI single to give Portland a 3-2 lead. Rosario added an RBI single in the third and Brannon made it 7-3 with his home run.
Nick Morabito hit a two-run home run in the first inning for Binghamton.
Caleb Bolden pitched five innings, allowing two runs on six hits, while striking out three and walking two to earn the win for Portland.
